Statutory holidays in Canada in 2026

Canada has no single list of statutory holidays. Federally regulated workplaces (such as banks, airlines and Canada Post) follow the 10 general holidays in the Canada Labour Code; everyone else follows the list of their province or territory. The maker shows the federal holidays by default. Choose your province or territory under Extras to see its holidays. Dates were checked against the Government of Canada and each provincial and territorial government on October 27, 2026. Canada Day is July 1, or Monday, July 2 when July 1 is a Sunday (Holidays Act).
